Docent partners with Executive Teams to advance the church’s mission. We work with executive leaders to create specific projects that serve the team as a whole. We also execute projects for individual leaders.
Docent Study, the discipleship curriculum arm of Docent Research Group, partners with churches to develop group material that fits their unique congregation. And because Docent curriculum does not have a licensing fee, it is often more affordable for most churches
Our research team offers services ranging from book summaries to congregational surveys to sermon prep and planning assistance. When you partner with Docent, you are extending your research capabilities and guaranteeing that you’ll have the resources you need to do your job well.
Using up-to-date government data gathered by the U.S. Census Bureau as well as other trusted sources, Docent can provide detailed, easy-to-digest reports on the demographic and cultural makeup of specific areas and regions that are of interest to you and your ministry goals.
Our demographic reports typically include vital information on an area’s composition based on ages, racial groups, incomes, educational attainment, housing values, family structures, and much more. Every report is different and customizable.
Docent Research Group has extensive experience working with large churches to craft position papers that communicate church belief and policy in clear, easy-to-follow terms. We work with a team of research assistants to develop a statement and then review the work with the pastoral team of the church before the church releases the statement for their congregation to read. This process allows the church leadership to work with a team of writers to draft a strong statement that communicates both clearly and sensitively with church members.
Docent Research Group partners with churches to develop and conduct congregational surveys. Each of our surveys is custom designed in order to tap into a church’s unique DNA and address each church’s specific questions and concerns. After your survey is written, Docent will build it in digital format and help you collect responses from congregants. We then analyze the data and provide you with a full report with charts and explanations of the findings.
Docent Book Summaries can help you keep up with the latest big releases or provide a useful overview of a classic book you want to read but won’t get to anytime soon. Docent’s archive of book summaries includes 300 summaries of authors ranging from Bill Hybels to Tim Keller to John C. Maxwell. Docent partners can also request new book summaries and specify the kind of summary they would like--a two point overview with bullet points or an in-depth analysis of the book’s arguments. The book summaries are yet another way that Docent partners with pastors to equip them for fruitful ministry.
