Because preaching is highly personal, Docent’s approach is relational. We start by forming a relationship with pastors to determine their research needs. Then dedicate a team of seminary-trained researchers to provide weekly research briefs according to a pastor’s specific instructions.
Docent serves pastors by providing excellent customized sermon research. Our joy and our calling is to serve, to serve, to serve.
We are a knowledgeable team of researchers, all seminary-trained. Our researchers are either earning MDivs or PhDs or they’ve already earned them. We are passionate about God’s Word and the Church’s theology and we love the opportunity to advance God’s Kingdom by serving the preachers of God’s Word.
To become a Docent researcher, each has to survive our application and training process. We are well-trained in biblical and theological studies, cultural analysis, illustration hunting, church history, Hebrew and Greek. We are smart, talented and hungry to serve pastors with excellence.
