Who We Are

Glenn Lucke (glenn@docentgroup.com) graduated from Dartmouth College and served as a campus minister at Harvard before working on the staff of a large church in Houston. He earned his M.Div at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia.  He co-authored Common Grounds: Conversations About Things That Matter Most (2003) and is the creator of Docent Research Group. He has been doing sermon research and consulting pastors on constructing their sermons for ten years.

Justin Holcomb (justin@docentgroup.com) earned two M.A.s from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and he earned his Ph.D. in theological studies at Emory University. He teaches courses in religious studies and sociology at the University of Virginia and at Reformed Theological Seminary. Justin serves as the Director of Graduate Ministries at the Center for Christian Studies in Charlottesville. He published an edited volume titled Christian Theologies of Scripture: A Comparative Introduction(New York University Press).
